Annabelle is one thing, but did you know there was an actual inspiration for Chucky? The doll was given to author Robert Otto in 1906 when he was a toddler by a servant who practiced voodoo. Otto’s parents would hear him talking to the doll at night… which was cute until the doll talked back.
